Cuchulainn's battle frenzy

Another image inspired by Irish mythology. When in his battle frenzy Cuchulainn's features become distorted and as described in Hayes O'Grady's Cuchulainn saga "His calves and heels and hams shift to the front, and his feet and knees to the back, and the muscles of his neck stood out like the head of a young child(very strange). One eye was engulfed in his head, the other protuded, his mouth met his ears and foam poured from his jaws". My interpretation is less strange but would still strike fear into his enemies I reckon.

Clan Calatin

This is an Irish myth of the Clan Calatin who fought Cuchulainn. Calatin was a wizard and together with his 27 children he formed one being, poisonous and each hand acted in unison against Cuchulainn in battle. The story is great and gave me the idea for the image above. I would have found it very difficult to fit in all 27 heads and arms so lets just say the rest are on his back :)
